The Summer 2021 Undergraduate Students |
Applying for a Summer IntershipThe Physics & Astronomy Program at Georgia State University often hires undergraduate research assistants during the summers. If you are an undergraduate student who is interested in carrying out physics or astronomy research, consider applying for a paid research position to work with a faculty member and their team. The start and end dates for the Summer Student Program are flexible, but will nominally cover the 12-week period from mid-May to mid-August. Pay will start at $12.00 per hour, for up to 40 hours per week, and can be increased based on work performance. Applicants indicating an interest in astronomy will automatically be considered for the Raghavan Astronomy Student Fellowship. If you are interested in applying for a possible position, please fill out the online application form and upload your CV/resume at the link given below. The deadline for filling the application is March 1st. If necessary, interviews will take place after the deadline.
