Georgia Outreach Team for Space (GOT Space) is an outreach program affiliated with the Georgia Space Grant Consortium, the National Science Foundation, Georgia Institute of Technology, and a few other universities. The GOT Space team, in which one of the graduate leaders is a current astronomy PhD candidate at GSU, creates presentations and hands-on activities that focus on current science and astronomy, and brings those to schools, museums, and other student programs. To date, 8 GSU astronomy PhD graduate students and 1 GSU astronomy PhD alumnus have been participants in the GOT Space team.
