Griffin Goodwin was selected for a NASA FINESST award, for his proposed project: “Improving Machine Learning-based Solar Flare Forecasting: The Impacts of Vector Magnetogram Projection Errors, SDO HMI/AIA-based Feature Sets, and Data Volumes”. This will provide a full graduate fellowship for the next 3 years.
